- Company Overview: We have designed our services with the following concerns in mind: The welfare of our clients, the protection of our environment and the proper selection of materials to obtain the desired results as rapidly as possible Gauntlet's philosophy is based on an Integrated Pest Management Strategy. Emphasis is placed on education, inspection, pest identification, sanitation, communication and cooperation of the customer. The focus of the program is Preventive Maintenance, which is achieved by identifying and eliminating conditions, which are conductive to supporting pest populations. Our goal is to control pests without adversely affecting the customer's environment while simultaneously using the least toxic, most effective materials, and limiting the total volume of materials in order to reduce the potential hazard of chemical exposure to the customer and the environment. This goal is best achieved through Bi-monthly Inspections and Monitoring which enables the early detection of pest activity while populations are at low levels. Once discovered, these small pest populations may be eliminated with fewer materials than those used in traditional exterminating programs. These procedures allow Gauntlet to provide our customers with a pest free environment while addressing concerns of possible exposure to young children and pets. Work Description: Set out blocks to kill mice in crawl space, kitchen, garage and utility room. Examine whole house to determine where to set out blocks and entery of mice. It was determine that mice were coming in through the garage.
Comments: Unsure as to if there are still mice inside the house, how they will leave and die without me seeing them?

Comments: Gauntlet Pest Control is a family-owned and operated company serving the Chicago area that I have called on twice. Both times, Scott has been professional, courteous, and prompt. Their prices are reasonable, their work is effective, and they offer a complimentary 24/7 emergency service with their maintenance plan. In fact, the first time they came out, it was at around midnight, when I spotted a mouse in the kitchen. Scott is the person I have spoken and met with both times, and he is very understanding if you're freaked out about bugs or rodents and explains Gauntlet's plan of attack to offer some reassurance. This is a trustworthy business that offers a great value. I would recommend them to anyone.
