Exterminators In Detroit, MI

Known as the Motor City, Detroit is Michigan’s largest city and home of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge, the only international wildlife preserve in the US. But among the wildlife not preserved at the refuge is the infamous emerald ash borer, the destructive insect that has caused the loss of tens of millions of ash trees across the US. First discovered in the area in 2002, pest control services in Detroit and other Michigan cities say the bug has spread across 15 states. Many Michigan counties still remain under quarantine, and Detroit exterminators say people are supposed to burn firewood once they buy it to prevent the spread of the ash borer.
