Sacramento exterminators will release hundreds of tiny, stinger-less wasps that will combat the apple moth. The wasps, about the size of a grain of rice, lay their eggs inside the apple moth eggs. Harmless to people and pets, the wasps will be devastating to the apple moth population. Though the moth has only caused a minimal amount of damage in California, experts fear the worst.
